AOP: How to execute

 An annual operating plan (AOP) is a document that outlines the objectives and strategies a company plans to achieve in the upcoming year. To execute an AOP, the following steps can be taken:

  1. Clearly communicate the AOP to all relevant stakeholders, including employees, managers, and executive leadership.

  2. Assign specific tasks and responsibilities to individuals or teams.

  3. Establish clear metrics for measuring progress and success.

  4. Regularly review and update the plan as needed to ensure it remains aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

  5. Monitor progress and take corrective action as needed to ensure the plan stays on track.

  6. Communicate progress and results to stakeholders, and celebrate successes along the way.

  7. Review the performance at the end of the year and use that learning for the next year's plan
